Alameda County is the seventh most populous county in California, and has 14 incorporated cities and several unincorporated communities. The total population is estimated to be 1.6 Million people as of 2019. This county is commonly referred to as The East Bay, and has tons to offer!
Alameda county has tons to do, from vineyard hopping in Livermore & Pleasanton to hiking Mission Peak or visiting the Oakland Zoo! Housing is also relatively more affordable in the Easy Bay vs. Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. There are also multiple bridges that connect the counties together, making the East Bay a popular place to live for many commuters.
